Though often overshadowed by its better known and much-visited cousin Venice, the Veneto is a worthy destination in its own right. Its main provinces, including Padua, Treviso, Verona and Vicenza, contain enough great art, architecture, food and wine around which to build an entire vacation. Its Soave and Valpolicella wines are excellent and it is home to many Palladian villas (designed by Andrea Palladio, one of the most influential individuals in the history of Western architecture).

Veneto surely is amazing, especially if you are looking for unique gourmet experiences.
